Using the site

Digital Tool Space is free to use, needs no account, and asks for no personal details. You may use the tools for personal, commercial, educational or professional work, without attribution and without a licence fee.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you put into a tool and for what you do with what comes out. In particular:

• Only use the site for lawful purposes.
• Do not try to disrupt it. No scraping at a rate that degrades the service for others, no attempting to breach security, and no automated use of the forms as a compute service.
• Do not use the tools to process content you have no right to process.

Accuracy, and its limits

The tools calculate in good faith and are built to be correct, but the results are provided as is. Different browsers encode images differently, rounding is applied for readability, and a converter shows the precision its factor actually carries rather than every digit a calculator could produce.

Do not rely on a tool here as the sole basis for a financial, medical, legal, tax or safety decision, or for anything where being wrong would cost you money or cause harm. Check anything that matters against a source you trust. Conversion factors, date arithmetic and rounding rules can also change as the tools are improved, so re-check rather than assume an earlier answer still holds.

Availability

The site is offered free of charge and "as available". There is no uptime guarantee and no support commitment. It can be unavailable for maintenance or because of a problem outside our control, and individual tools can be added, changed or withdrawn at any time.

Your content

You keep every right to the images, text, numbers and other content you bring to a tool. Processing happens in your browser and nothing is retained on our side, so Digital Tool Space acquires no claim over it and no licence to it. See the privacy policy for the detail.

Intellectual property

The site's design, code, written copy and tool names belong to the project and are protected by copyright. You may use the tools freely for any lawful purpose, but you may not present the site or a copy of it as your own, or remove attribution from it.

Third-party services

The site is hosted by a third party, and links out to other sites may lead somewhere this project does not control. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content of a third-party site or for how it handles your data once you leave ours.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers and contributors of Digital Tool Space are not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising out of your use of the site or of any result it produces. This includes lost data, lost profit, or reliance on a result that turned out to be wrong. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to the service or these terms

Tools may be added, changed or withdrawn, and these terms may be updated as the site develops. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
