Privacy Policy

Short version: your files and your typing never leave your device, there are no accounts, and nothing is measured unless you agree to it. Last updated 15 October 2026.

What we do not collect

Digital Tool Space has no sign-up, no accounts and no user records, so there is no profile of you to build. We do not ask for your name, your email address, your location or any contact detail in order to use a tool.

How the tools handle your input

Every tool on this site runs in your browser. That is not a setting you can turn off; it is how they are built.

  • Calculations and conversions: the numbers you type are held in the page's memory while the tab is open. They are not sent anywhere, and they disappear when you close or reload the tab.
  • Images: the image tools read your file with the browser's own file APIs, draw it on a canvas that lives in this page, and encode the result there. Your file is never uploaded, and there is no upload progress bar because there is no upload. The preview you see is a temporary blob: URL that is released as soon as it is replaced.
  • QR codes: the text, URL or Wi-Fi password you enter is encoded into the code in this tab. The encoder is loaded only when a code is actually drawn.
  • Timers: a countdown or stopwatch reads the clock in your device. Nothing is stored between visits, so a timer does not survive a page reload.
  • Search: the tool list is already in the page, so typing in the search field issues no request and leaves no trace.

There is no upload endpoint, no database and no server-side tool in this application. A result you see is the result your own device computed.

Cookies, local storage and consent signals

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no first-party cross-request storage for advertising today. If advertising is enabled in the future, any use of cookies or local storage to support advertising will only happen with the controls described below.

  • Local storage: currently used only to remember your answer to the analytics consent notice described below, under the keytoolshub:analytics-consent. It is never used for anything else today.
  • Cookies: none are set by Digital Tool Space. Services that may be introduced later (such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense/Google services related to ads) may set their own cookies and storage when used, subject to your consent in regions where it is required.

Analytics

Analytics is disabled in the version of this site you are reading. There is no analytics script in the page, no measurement id in the source, and nothing to consent to.

The code for it exists but is inactive, switched on at build time by an environment variable. If it is ever enabled, it will be Google Analytics 4, it will load only after you accept the notice, and the rest of the site will behave identically if you decline. Google Analytics 4 does not store a device identifier or an IP address in its reports.

Your choice is remembered in this browser. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and reload the page.

Advertising and third-party services

The layout reserves space for advertising so that enabling it later would not move anything around, but no advertising network is connected and no ads are served today. This site does not currently use Google AdSense or any other advertising service.

If advertising is enabled in the future (such as Google AdSense), we may use cookies and other identifiers to serve ads. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland may be offered choices about personalized and non-personalized advertising in line with applicable law. In such cases, Google may use data from partner sites and apps to serve ads based on your visit, and to measure ad performance and prevent fraud. You can learn more about how Google uses information for advertising at Google's advertising policies.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, it records the information needed to deliver the page and keep the service running: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer and timestamp. Those logs are used for security, abuse prevention and capacity planning. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not joined to any account, because there are none.

Third parties

Today, a page on this site loads its content from the site's own origin and nothing else. There is no embedded video, no social widget, no font CDN and no third-party script in the critical path. The typeface is self-hosted, so visiting a tool does not tell a font provider that you did.

If enabled later, third-party services such as Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense may load only after appropriate consent where required by law. When enabled, their use is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Search engines

This site may be listed in Google Search Console so that its owners can monitor how it appears in search results. Verifying a site adds nothing to the page you are reading and sets nothing in your browser. It is a one-time check performed by the site owner, not by you.

Children

The site is a set of general-purpose utilities and is not directed at children. Because no information is collected from anyone, none is collected from children either.

Your choices

  • Decline analytics and nothing changes; every tool works as before.
  • If analytics or advertising is enabled, you may be able to accept, reject or change your choices. Today those choices do not exist because nothing is enabled.
  • Where consent is offered, you can withdraw it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings and reloading, or by using any consent controls that may be provided when enabled.
  • Ask what is held about you: nothing is, beyond ordinary server logs described above, which are the hosting provider's to answer for.

Changes to this policy

This page is updated whenever the practices it describes change, for example if analytics or advertising is ever switched on. The date at the top is the last time it was revised, and because the page is built from the same code that runs the site, it always describes the version you are actually using rather than an intention.

Questions about privacy can be sent by email; the address is on the contact page. A correction to this policy is welcome there too.
