Enter a start date and an end date. The calculator counts the real calendar days between them, including different month lengths, year boundaries and February 29. It then breaks that total down into weeks, complete months, and years, months and days.
Total days is the exact elapsed time, so it never changes with how you break it up. Years, months and days are calendar-based: they describe the same span the way a calendar does, and they do depend on where the span starts.
Switch to the Add / Subtract Days tab, choose whether to add or subtract, then enter a whole number of days. The result keeps the calendar date correct across month boundaries, year boundaries and leap years.
Yes. February 29 is counted as an ordinary day, so 28 February 2024 to 1 March 2024 is 2 days, and adding one day to 28 February 2024 gives 29 February 2024.
